TOOLMAKER.
Instead of hammer or spanner, as a toolmaker you produce tools for the injection moulding industry. Moulds are made from which a finished plastic article falls after the injection moulding process. You finish by hand design specifications on CNC machines (milling, eroding, grinding, etc.) individual parts and assemble them into a complex tool in the assembly department.
The training lasts 3.5 years and takes place in the company and at vocational school. Your school is located directly in Lohne, so that you have a short way to get there.
School prerequisites:
good Hauptschulabschluss (secondary modern school leaving certificate)
Personal requirement:

TECHNICAL PRODUCT DESIGNER.
Injection moulding tools must first be constructed and designed. As a Technical Product Designer you are responsible for this. Using modern 3D CAD software, you design and plan the finished injection mould on the computer. In doing so, you always make sure that everything meets the customer's requirements and can be optimally implemented.
